THE EAR IMPRESSION PROCESS
After you have scheduled an appointment with us we will meet to examine you ear. At this time the professional will observe the overall size, length and diameter of the ear canal. Next we will begin by inserting a small piece of cotton into the ear canal to act as a stopper. Then we will mix the material to be used on the impression. Once everything is in place, using a syringe we will place the mixture into the ear canal and outer ear. After waiting for the ear impression to settle and cure for a few minutes we will carefully remove it and make sure everything looks okay.
Once this is done, we will use your ear impressions to create your custom ear monitors and other hearing products.
